Great welcome and friendly service. Our suite was spacious enough for our family of four and sparkly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with perfectly cooked sausages and bacon. Loved having parking on site. Location was spot on for walking to shops and the waterfront.

The owner was very condiserate and managed to move us to a first floor room. The staff, especially the manager, was very helpful and met our requests with a genuine smile. The availabilitty of light reftreshments during the afternoon and evening hours made the return between our local trips very pleasant. Great coffee and tea.
Only concern we had was the emphasis on "sweet" breakfast items. They were very tasty but a tad sweet for our taste.

True to the period restored ship builder's house furnished with period furniture and decorative items, and pleasant outdoor deck and seating and parking on site. Tasty complete breakfasts with excellent coffee. Complimentary gourmet teas/coffee/chocolate/lemonade and tasty baked snacks available in the afternoon, as well as filtered water 24 h. Handy location within walking distance of major attractions. And, obviously, very helpful proprietors.
There was nothing to dislike!

Couple's Delight, with a Caveat
Staying two nights in the Double Room Ground Floor was a treat. The place had this unique decor, like stepping back into the late 1800s with antique furniture and photos, charming.
It wasn't cheap,, but considering the experience, it felt acceptable.

comfortable stay with good hosts
The big suite was super clean and had plenty of space for my family. Breakfast included delicious sausages and perfectly cooked bacon, setting us up well for the day. The lovely garden view from our room was a bonus. Our friendly hosts were cute.
Parking could get a bit tight during busy times.

I appreciated cosy decor of the queen room. And it was well-organised rooms with exceptionally comfortable beds. As for me, the location was marvellous and fantastic, very close to the centre of Charlottetown, and many areas.

Lekker stay in Charlottetown 🇨🇦
Had an absolute jol in the suite! Super spacious and bright, with a lekker bathroom and the comfiest bed. The brekkie was a highlight, sausages cooked to perfection! This place is a real gem, walking distance to everything-definitely.
Just a bit noisy with plumbing sounds from upstairs, but didn't spoil the vibe.

I enjoyed big size and vintage room with a mini-refrigerator, coffee and a fireplace. Garden view was a good bonus. The hotel was in the central setting close to the Downtown. Further, it was just off the boardwalk and many great restaurants, and restaurant and pub.

The room was beautiful- large and spacious and clean. The Inn is close to everything downtown and it only takes a couple of minutes to walk anywhere. Judy and Trevor were so nice, welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Cozy atmosphere and charming Victorian decor.
The air conditioning in our room stopped working during the hot and humid weather, and despite several promises from staff, the issue was never resolved. There was no staff on-site after 6 pm, and calls went unanswered, leaving us feeling abandoned.

Judy and Trevor were most helpful in making our visit to PEI the best it could be. If answers to questions weren't on hand Judy was on the phone for accurate information.

The breakfast spread was delicious with a very gifted chef and a freshly baked muffin, as for instance. The staff were both VERY WELCOMING and absolutely kind. Its location at a short distance from Confederation Court Mall was great and stunning.

We enjoyed our stay at the Shipwright Inn immensely. The room was perfect for our needs. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the Innkeepers, Judy and Trevor, along with their staff made us feel very welcome. The Inn is perfectly located in downtown Charlottetown and we were able to walk around easily and see much of the town. Thank you to Judy and Trevor and we'll be sure to return! Diana and Mark
